TERMS AND CONDITIONS


Cogent Training Terms of Business .

On Site Training

Confirmation of Booking
We will confirm your booking in writing, when the signed Letter of Understanding is received with the 10% activation payment. We will then schedule and plan your training program
Payment Terms
10% of the total amount is due upon signing the client agreement form Then 40% of the total amount is due at least 7 days prior to the training. We reserve the right to re-allocate the day if this is not received. The final 50% of the total amount is due upon completion of delivery of services unless by prior arrangement.
Late Payment
For late or non payment of invoices a further 2% per calendar month or part calendar month will be charged
Cancellation
In event of cancellation by the client the activation payment of 10% is non refundable. If the cancellation is within 7 days of the training and the 40% has been paid, then this may be used against future training or a percentage retained. This decision is at the discretion of Cogent Training.
Postponement
In event of postponement by Cogent Training due to unforeseen circumstances, then any monies paid can be used against future training. This decision is at the discretion of Cogent Training.
Facilities
We will notify the client at least 7 days prior to the training, of any facilities required for the training. eg projector or dvd etc. It is assumed that appropriate refreshments will be provided and all Health & Safety procedures adhered to. We also assume that the client has adequate Public Liability Insurance. We reserve the right to withdraw from the training if any of these are not provided
Confidentiality
it is assumed that all matters discussed between Cogent Training and the Client are completely confidential.
Delivery, Performance & Timing
We will deliver the agreed training to a reasonable standard and distribute any appropriate documentation Cogent Training business hours re normally Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) from 08:30 to 18:00 When the term "Daily Rate" is used we will provide 8 hours training within those hours. When the term "Half Day" is used we will provide 4 hours training within those hours. When Hourly Rate" is used we will provide 1 hours training within these hours.
Delegate Interaction
We reserve the right to ask for the removal of a delegate due to inappropriate or disruptive behaviour. In extreme circumstances we also reserve the right to withdraw our services from the training.

Workshops


Confirmation of Booking
We will confirm your booking in writing with a receipted invoice when we have received payment in full
Payment Terms
Full payment is due at least 7 days prior to the date of the workshop
Late Payment
If payment is received less than 7 days before the training, we reserve the right to allocate the place to another delegate
Cancellation
We are not able to accept cancellation of a workshop place
Postponement
If a delegate is unable to attend a booked and paid for workshop then we will accept a substitute delegate.

In event of postponement by Cogent Training due to unforeseen circumstances, then any monies paid can be used against future training. This decision is at the discretion of Cogent Training.

Marketing Support

Confirmation of Booking
We will either email or post a "Letter of Engagement" which will act as confirmation of your booking for Marketing Support.
Payment Terms
Full payment is due on completion of services.
Late Payment
For late or non payment of invoices a further 2% per calendar month or part calendar month will be charged
Cancellation
We are not able to accept cancellation of booking for Marketing Support. Full payment becomes due.
Postponement
Ff the client is unable to attend the day booked for Marketing Support then in extreme circumstances we will accept a substitute client.

In event of postponement by Cogent Training due to unforeseen circumstances, then any monies paid can be used against future Marketing Support. This decision is at the discretion of Cogent Training.

We will provide appropriate refreshments and all Health & Safety procedures will be adhered to. We will also provide adequate Public Liability Insurance. .If the Marketing Support is conducted on client premises, it is assumed that appropriate refreshments will be provided and all Health & Safety procedures adhered to. We also assume that the client has adequate Public Liability Insurance. We reserve the right to withdraw from the support if any of these are not provided

We will deliver the agreed Marketing Support to a reasonable standard and distribute any appropriate documentation Cogent Training business hours are normally Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) from 08:30 to 18:00 When the term "Daily Rate" is used we will provide 8 hours Marketing Support within those hours. When the term "Half Day" is used we will provide 4 hours Marketing Support within those hours.
Client Interaction
We reserve the right to ask for the removal of a client due to inappropriate or disruptive behaviour. In extreme circumstances we also reserve the right to withdraw our services from the Marketing Support
